“ Had a great experience at The Tapas Room in Tooting Market. The staff there were very friendly and welcoming, seated us quickly, and were incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks menu particularly the wines, of which there were many interesting and unusual grape varieties by the glass on offer. They asked me what style of wines I usually enjoy, and from that they were able to recommend me some of their Spanish wines, which really were excellent. Super selection of vermouth as well (I think there were 8 or 9 varieties). The food was delicious and came quickly. It’s fresh, beautifully presented, and really great flavours. We came for just a light lunch, and enjoyed the cod croquettes, chorizo in a delicious and truly memorable red wine jus, and the aubergine & mushroom escalivada. Highly recommend! ”
